The forum comprises of a number of elements:
The Navigation Bar - where you can access help, member info (if you are a member), your profile, posts (or threads) you have bookmarked, my messages (any personal messages you have sent or received) and a list of recent threads or posts since you last visited.
Categories - The forum is divided into a number of these - Administration, The Great Outdoors, General etc - these are shown in white with a brown strip background.
Boards - Within each category is a number of Boards that are titled to reflect their contents - each board contains a number of threads.
Threads - Within each board are a number of threads, these comprise the original post, together with any replies (further posts) - together these posts make up what is called a thread.
Posts - these are individual posts by members within a thread.
