What Is An Avatar
An Avatar is the image you see on the LHS of a members post (in an area that is called a mini profile).
It's a way of uniquely identifying yourself.
Until you select one, you are given the default avatar.
Great incentive to select one don't you think!
How Do I Create One?
It's VERY easy!
1) Select My Profile from the menu bar.
2) Click on the Edit Porfile button towards the top right hand corner.
3) Choose one of the following methods:
Method 1 - Use only the uploaded linked - Upload or link to your own - ideally the image should be square at measure 200 x 200 pixels or slightly larger.
- click inside the small grey circle on the left
- click on Uploaded/Linked
- Either Upload an image or Link to an image (externally hosted - you can even link to your FB profile or other pic if you wish)
- Click on the Save Avatar Buttons settings
Method 2 - Use a Forum Avatar - there are a load of really cool and funny images to choose from and these get added to from time to time.
- click inside the small grey circle on the left
- Click on Pick One
- scroll through the images displayed and click on one to select it.
- Click on the Save Avatar Buttons settings
Method 3 - PM Colin with the desired image and he will do it for you!
